TYPO3 has always been known for its outstanding features in the area of multilingualism. This has been supported for more than a decade by the workhorse for language imports and exports, the Localizationmanager or L10nmgr for short. Since both the workflow and the interface of this extension are not very intuitive for normal editors, we developed the Localizer a few years ago.

This talk will cover the basic multilingual features of TYPO3 and both extensions as well as the simplified translation workflow that can be achieved with the help of additional API plugins for the Localizer.
